- Turn up the carpet, etc under the brake pedal. Check the clearance between the brake pedal and the toeboard when the brake pedal is depressed. If the clearance does not meet the specifications, check for air in the system, brake fluid leakage, and/or a malfunction of the pedal itself.

Standard value: 100 mm or more

- Verify correct brake pedal free play.
