A19. REPLACE FUEL FILTER
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
       
    1. Remove the service hole cover.
         
      1. Disconnect the harness connector, fuel hose and fuel tube.
      1. Unscrew the mounting nuts to remove the fuel pump module.
           
        1. Remove the fuel filter from fuel pump module.
        1. Install the new fuel filter.
          2.  CAUTION
           Apply a unleaded petrol to the grommet and O-ring before installing them in order to prevent damage.
             
          1. Install the fuel pump module. Tighten the mounting nuts to the specified torque.
            2. Specified torque: 2.5 ± 0.4 N·m
               
            1. Connect the fuel hose, fuel tube and harness connector.
               
               CAUTION
               After connecting the fuel high-pressure hose or fuel pump suction tube <4WD>, slightly pull it to ensure that it is installed securely. Also confirm that there is a play approximately 3mm.
            1. Install the service hole cover.
            1. Install the rear seat cushion assembly.
