- Before inspection, set the vehicle to the pre-inspection condition.
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position and then connect the MUT-II/IIII to the diagnosis connector or connect a tachometer to the engine speed detection connector.

- Disconnect the ventilation hose from the PCV valve, and connect a vacuum gauge to the ventilation hose.
- Plug the PCV valve.
- Start the engine and check that idle speed is within the standard valve.
- : 680 ± 100 r/min
Standard value
- Check the intake manifold vacuum.
Limit: Minimum 60 kPa
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
- Remove the vacuum gauge and then connect the ventilation hose.
- Remove the MUT-II/III.
