THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Pre-removal Operation
  • Engine Coolant Draining (Refer to GROUP 14, On-vehicle Service - Engine Coolant Replacement ).
  • Intercooler Assembly and Intercooler Outlet Air Hose Removal <4G63-DOHC> (Refer to GROUP 15, Intercooler ).
  • Air Cleaner Removal (Refer to GROUP 15, Air Cleaner <4G63-SOHC, 4G64-SOHC>, <4G63-DOHC>).
Post-installation Operation
  • Air Cleaner Installation (Refer to GROUP 15, Air Cleaner <4G63-SOHC, 4G64-SOHC>, <4G63-DOHC>).
  • Engine Coolant Supplying (Refer to GROUP 14, On-vehicle Service - Engine Coolant Replacement ).
  • Accelerator Cable Adjustment (Refer to GROUP 17, On-vehicle Service - Accelerator Cable Adjustment ).
  • Intercooler Assembly and Intercooler Outlet Air Hose Installation <4G63-DOHC> (Refer to GROUP 15, Intercooler ).

 CAUTION
 Poor idling etc. may result if the throttle body gasket is installed incorrectly.
   
Install the throttle body gasket as shown in the illustration.
