ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
  1. Start the engine and allow it to warm up until the temperature of the coolant reaches 80 °C to 90 °C.
  1. Remove the engine oil filler cap.
     WARNING
     Use care as oil could be hot.
  1. Remove the drain plug to drain oil.
       
    1. Install a new drain plug gasket so that it faces in the direction shown in the illustration, and then tighten the drain plug to the specified torque.
      2. Tightening torque: 39 ± 5 N·m
      NOTE: Install the drain plug gasket so it faces in the direction shown in the illustration.
             
      1. Refill with specified quantity of oil.
        • Specified Engine Oil (API classification): SE or higher
        • Total quantity (Includes volume inside oil filter): 4.3 L
        NOTE: If SE grade engine oil or higher is difficult to obtain, use API classification SD engine oil.
        NOTE: SAE 0W-30, 5W-30, and 5W-40 engine oils can only be used if they meet ACEA A3 and API SG (or higher) specifications.
      1. Install the engine oil filler cap.
      1. Check oil level.
