OUTSIDE MIRROR

The door mirror has the following characteristics.

Features a power remote control door mirror. <Except vehicles for Hong Kong>

Features a folding power remote control door mirror. <Vehicles for Hong Kong>

Features a pentagonal mirror surface door mirror that is compact, but provides an actual effective area of the mirror glass.

Improved downward adjustment angle of the mirror glass to heighten visibility around the rear tyres upon parking (Figure 1).

A rain gutter has been set on the mirror housing to alleviate rain adhering on the mirror surface (Figure 1).

The mirror housing terminal is designed to protrude from the mirror surface to suppress aerodynamic vibration of the mirror surface (Figure 2).

DOOR MIRROR UNFOLDING/FOLDING FUNCTION <VEHICLES FOR HONG KONG>

A door mirror automatic unfolding function is adopted that automatically returns the door mirrors from their retracted positions to the normal positions when vehicle speed exceeds 30 km/h.

We have adopted a keyless entry-linked mirror retract·reset function that automatically returns the door mirrors from their retracted positions to the normal positions and vice versa when the keyless entry transmitter is unlocked or locked.

We have adopted an ignition-linked mirror unfolding/folding function that automatically returns the door mirrors from their retracted positions to the normal positions and vice versa when the ignition key is turned to ON and LOCK (OFF).

NOTE: The door mirror unfolding/folding function has four modes controlled by the adjusting function: automatic unfolding function, keyless linked unfolding/folding function, ignition-linked unfolding/folding function, and manual function. (Refer to Group 54B, SWS

to change the functions).
