| Use the following steps to remove the connector cover and measure the terminal voltage.
- Move the lock lever of the ABS-ECU connector as shown in the illustration, and then disconnect the ABS-ECU connector.
- Insert the flat-tipped screwdriver to the aperture (arrow area as shown in the illustration) between ABS-ECU connector and connector cover to disengage the claw and remove the connector cover.
| TERMINAL VOLTAGE CHECK CHART
- Measure the voltages between terminals (2) and (18) (earth terminals) and each respective terminal.
- The terminal layouts are shown in the illustrations below.
NOTE: Do not measure terminal voltage for approximately three seconds after the ignition switch is turned "ON." The ABS-ECU performs the initial check during that period.

| RESISTANCE AND CONTINUITY BETWEEN HARNESS-SIDE CONNECTOR TERMINALS
- Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position and disconnect the ABS-ECU connectors before checking resistance and continuity.
- Check the resistance and continuity between the terminals indicated in the table below.
- The terminal layout is shown in the illustration.
